Eighteen-year-old Aiden is running from the ghosts of his past, driving lonely roads alone. When a militia attacks, he flees to Zach’s town. The boys are forced to escape together but soon form a bond as they comfort each other in this lonely and broken world.
The farther they travel, the more their affection grows, as do the forces pulling them apart. The Infected attack and the militia hunt them relentlessly.
